Got Stuff?

Would you believe every drawer is full?

Seriously, with this amount of storage space you think I would be organized! What you don't see in this photo is the pool table behind which is FULL of old papers, glue, artwork, folders, wallpapers, jars, an iron...and the list goes on! I sometimes wonder if I sabotage myself because really, being organized is simple. A place for everything and everything in it's place, right? Ha! Maybe on a good day.

I did find a cute storage space for my cream colored buttons ... these cute glass jars. I added some vintage style stickers to the front and ta-dah, instant happiness for me. I'm such a nerd!

Oh, oh, oh...jumping...I am always so pumped to meet another blogger from Canada! Hello! I found you by way of Paris Apartment. Love your blog. I'm going to link you right now!

You are not a nerd!!! hehe!! It is the little stuff that makes us happy right??? Lovin those beautiful storage drawers you have!

Laughing at the part about the pool table! I usually work on my dining table and my husband says... "do you think you could buy a desk or something so we could sit at the table once in awhile"??? ha!

Well, if you're a nerd, I'm a nerd, too- I keep my white buttons in a fish bowl! I love your labels!

Your medical cabinet drawers are wonderful!

Re: Organization- I've decided that if I spend all time organizing my stuff, I never have any time to play with it....

Joy, I've yet to chime in, but I LOVE your blog! Your comment on the pool table rang true for me. I am an avid pool player (don't ask) and everyone I know who has one has laundry on it!

BTW, I'd never heard of VV until I read your blog. Apparently the ones near you are a tad more, uh, organized, than the ones near me. It was NUTS. It was like a Texas football tailgating party in the parking lot--people actually had grills set up and there was an ice-cream truck! Although I found good stuff, each register was like 30 people deep and I couldn't hang that long.

Also, I'm ecstatic that you're Canadian; my mom is originally from outside Windsor, and I have loads of relatives there. On my next visit, guess I'll be driving so we can meet up!

Hi Joy

I think that the buttons look great in those pretty jars...it is the simple things in life that bring us most pleasure.

Thanks for visiting my blog and Happy Thanksgiving.

When six out of eight of your last posts have been about how you picked this up at the flea market/yard sale etc., I'm surprised you've lasted this long!!

One word, Joy.

Hiya Joy,
You are so NOT a nerd! I LOVE your ideas and come by often to see what clever new posts you have. I know those of us who enjoy vintage items and collections are terribly intelligent, attractive and creative. YEP:-)

I looooove that cabinet. I have a thing for drawers. And your jars with the labels are sooo cute. You are so creative. Now I've got to go separate my buttons and put them in jars, and find some labels. And just when I was going to sit down an watch some TV. :)
