And What Are You Going To Do With THOSE?...

...My sister asked me as I dragged these old pram wheels to the cash at an antique store this morning.

"I have no idea. All I know is I must have them!" was my response.

Granted I probably paid too much but these old wheels were calling out to me with their creamy color. I could see them tied with ribbon, displayed at different levels with some sort of a Christmas feel.

Really, I had no clue.

But then I found this sweet, sweet bird with chocolate brown accents (!) and some glass acorn ornaments, and of course, some greenery.

And then it came to me...

See Sis, it was all meant to be. Sometimes there IS a method to my madness!

I can't wait to decorate the others. I'll just walk around my "junk" and see what jumps out and grabs me. Now THAT'S what I call fun!

Wow Joy, you are so clever. Isn't it funny how things turn out. You are not sure why you need them but you know you do. It looks fabulous.

I would have bought the wheels, too. It's the paint and the "sculptural quality" that gets me! I've seen them hung in a grouping on the wall, or even displayed on plate stands like little pieces of architecture- love the Christmas idea!

JOY!! You are incredible!!! That is one of the most fantastic things I have seen in a long time and I would buy that in a heartbeat done just like that!!

You remind me of myself...I'll see something that I just love and have no idea what I'll do with it. Others look at me like I'm "nuts" and then I'll turn it into something else and they'll say "ooohhh"...

Oh, that's wonderful!! My first thought was that that was something I'd see in someone's home in a magazine. Well. Now I'll have to be on the lookout for neat wheels. Of course, they'd hang around my house for a few years before creative genius hit here.

Absolutely Perfect. Reminds me of the project that the junkmarket ladies had in Country Home last month. Great imagination.
