These Cow Bells Followed Me Home...

My house is a disaster, I have company coming over for dinner tomorrow night but I am doing what I do best - avoiding my housework!

I don't know why, but I dragged these little miniature cow bells home today from my fav thrift store Value Village. They looked so vintage, I couldn't resist.

As you all know my
sister-in-law Gaby is German, her whole house has that European feel and I knew she would love the colors of this little bell. I decided to turn it into an ornament and glittered her name on it! I think she'll love it. :)

The rest I hung on my rustic mantle...

It just goes to show you that if you love an item enough, you will find something to do with it...

I've been procrastinating with the housework too...I've been a sloth all day. Oh well. There's always tomorrow!

Joy the bells are lovely and you've created something really special with your own touch.

I completely understand your housework woes, having returned from a trip I have packages all over my bedroom (you can see my the pictures on my blog!) and I just haven't been able to tackle it all weekend... looks like I know what i'll be doing this weekend!

Joy, I love those bells....I can TOTALLY see why you HAD to have them!!!
Procrastinating on decorating the tree at the moment....trying to go in 15 minute increments....15 mins of decorating and then 15 mins of something I WANT to do!!
I know it will be totally worth it once it's finished!

Hi Joy, those cowbells are too cute I agree! My husbands side of the family is German too, so I too appreciate all those german style decorations. I am currently collecting West German christmas ornaments, just love them!

Hi Joy, I like your cowbells. Don't worry about the housework. It'll be dark when your company comes. Just light the candles and everything will look beautiful. :) Lynn
