I love the look of silver ornaments with the cream color of the tree...these sweet cone decorations are available in my shop.
I sure am getting a lot of use out of these old milk caps!
I bought these old religious medallions at a yard sale this past summer. I think they make perfect little feather tree decorations....I hope that's not sacrilegious or anything?
The only thing that makes me nervous is the fact that these old feather trees are very lightweight. One bump from Wilbur and this baby's on the floor! Thankfully most everything on this tree is not breakable.
Well, I finally did it - I got the big Christmas tree up. I covered it in those lights that have four mini-lights where the normal strand has only one. Holy cow Clark Griswald - I think I've gone blind! There are so many lights on the tree that I swear it is heating the livingroom! More pics to come...

That is so beautiful. I would have never thought it would appeal to me but I adore the silver and cream. You may have opened my eyes to something new and different. Watch out Hubby :-)
Joy it looks wonderful. The cream with silver looks devine. What a wonderful array of decorations and they are not all expensive. Fabulous.

Girl, you just KNOW you jinxed the feather tree by even MENTIONING Wilbur. Will look forward to seeing the picture of the tree "post Wilbur". ;)
Can't help but see the previously thin, somewhat boring feather tree, now as a high-falootin', fancy-schmancy Charlie Brown tree...beautiful!
Joy, feel free to delete this post since I'm actually just testing out the posting options. Blogger seems to have changed the identity options so now my web url isn't showing, which isn't a biggie, but it's bugging me. lol Again, delete away after my testing is done. :)
Ooh la la, that tree is wonderful. I want one! I love how you decorated it.
So pretty, Joy! Love that feather tree with all your sparklies. It's so fun to see how everyone decorates for Christmas, all the creativity is great. Can't wait to see more from you.
