The Evolution of an Poster

I loved these posters when I first saw them... they are reproductions of the original Keep Calm and Carry On posters produced by the English Ministry of Information in 1939.

Good advice, right?

Of course when you can never get too much of a good thing...why not make branch out and make other items while you're at it? This one might be a good reminder when you walk out the door to start your day...

Ahhh, but then people got clever and mixed it up a bit...think the folks at Louis Vuitton would mind? It was very prophetic for 2008 I think...

Until the sh*t hit the fan. Clever artist Olly Moss decided to design another take on it...

Hope this isn't what 2009 shapes up to be!

LOVE it in all the versions! Can you imagine when it came out as real advice? Must have been some crazy moment in time...

I guess one can take an idea and run with it or beat it to death with a stick. We'll have to see what happens with this one!

It's dog week over at Shades of Inspiration. You must head over there and submit some photos of the always wonderful Wilbur!
